Southern route from Lake Léman to Lake Constance

Cycle through the whole of Switzerland on marked Veloland routes, from Lausanne to the beautiful German town of Konstanz. The tour takes you along the Rhône river through the heart of French speaking-Valais to Bellinzona - the most Italian of Swiss towns.

You continue through the heart of the Swiss mountains and along the old Roman Via Mala to the Rhein valley and on to Lake Konstanz.

This is assuredly one of the most stunning tours you will ever undertake. You'll experience cultural diversity from the bustling metropole of Lausanne to the tiny village of Oberwald and the southern flair of Italian-speaking Bellinzona.

You'll cycle through the historic towns of Chur and discover the hidden alleyways of Konstanz.

The cycling tour combines a number of Veloland routes which are all clearly signposted from beginning to end. We'll transport your bags each day to selected hotels and guest houses.

You'll return by train from Konstanz to Lausanne and can enjoy a day sightseeing in Konstanz, Zurich or Lausanne - or any town you fancy on the way!

• Note: the Veloland routes include some non-tarmaced sections.  This tour is designed for road-bikes and we ensure that only suitable roads are included.
  
  
• The day from Thusis to Bad Ragaz is designed to be shorter so that you can enjoy the wellness facilities in Bad Ragaz.  However, we also recommend taking the longer route instead via Tiefencastle, Davos and Klosters.  Although this isn't a Veloland signed route, we provide documentation in your info-pack describing this route.
